This displacement has been accompanied by widespread destruction of infrastructure, including homes, schools, and hospitals, leading to the collapse of healthcare systems and disruption of essential supply chains.<\/p>\n
Education Under Siege<\/p>\n
More than 350 public schools in Lebanon are currently being used as shelters, depriving around 100,000 students of education. While alternative solutions such as remote learning are being used, the loss of schools also means the loss of safety, stability, and psychological support for children.<\/p>\n

In a Beirut hospital, 14-year-old \u201cNour\u201d recounts how she woke up buried under rubble after her home was bombed, while all her family members were injured.
